Home Stretch

Wow, it’s week 9 of the quarter and it’s coming to a close. My classroom has officially put up the finals calendar and it is crrrrunchtime. I basically have 3 weeks to do the following:

Letterhead, envelope, business card design
A full, working planner – printed and binded
A color theory movie poster + 1 more mystery assignment
Logo, brochure, 2 ads, a poster, website and presentation for SCCA

Of course on top of CAB, planning a huge conference, keeping up with the orgs and work.

I’ll be lucky to post anything here these next 3 weeks. But I am looking forward to spring break immensely - so wish me luck! Finals, here I come.

Blah Blah Blah

So, I’m on break right now after my first quarter of the graphic design and illustration program and boy, do I gotta confess – that shit was tough! Besides holding down two jobs, student leadership, a million other organizations and my own personal life, the program takes out more time and effort out of me than anything else I do. And it’s a shame that I didn’t realize this earlier amongst the chaos because, let’s be honest, my grades were way less than hot.

But I wanted to share some projects we worked on throughout Fall quarter. I don’t have everything since I wasn’t really organized (maybe why I didn’t do so well) but I’ll show what I got stored away on this little jump drive. Stay tuned for that!

And and and – I just registered for Winter quarter. My schedule, starting January 5th, looks like this:

I really need to manage my time more wiser and prioritize all the things that I do.. But I’m excited for typography! Yay!
