MIA

Wow, have I been MIA with this blog. It was on a good on for a while but reality set in and I realize how much I shit I need to get done. I’ll pick up where I left off, though. Still got design all up in my mind – that’s never gonna change. School is raining a storm on me. Lost my job. Being a starving artist is no joke.

But cheers to Spring, paying off my debt and getting myself back on track. In fact, here’s a blueprint of a poster I’m designing for CAB. The Massive Monkees are gonna be performing at SCCC’s Unity Fair and I’m reppin with the poster. It’s actually part of a series for the Unity Fair performances. Let’s see how it holds up.

Double the Denzel

…in movie roles of course! Next week, Malcolm X, whose assassination anniversary will be this Saturday (February 21), will be screening at SCCC along with The Great Debaters and Bamboozled in honor of Black History Month. Made these posters for CAB last night. Don’t laugh at my vectoring – I’m a noob! But these posters were fun to make anyhow. Here goes:

Workdump

I don’t show enough of my work on here. Here’s some things I’ve made this past quarter for the College Activities Board I work at at school. I fulfill request forms for student orgs or events happening on campus. Here’s a small dump of what I’ve made so far:

I must say that these aren’t my best works or even close to making it to my portfolio. All of them are time sensitive and I just bring em straight to the point. Simply enough. Just wanted to share! Bye bye.
